About

Built for the work that doesn't fit a spreadsheet.

PrizmLine started inside Prizm Law, APC, a California trust-and-estate practice. Trust contests are timeline-shaped: a decedent, multiple beneficiaries, decades of capacity questions, deeds that changed hands, hospice notes, amendments to amendments. Spreadsheets and word documents lose the plot. Posterboard timelines work for one meeting and then live in a closet.

I built PrizmLine because every matter needed the same artifact — a visual, citable, shareable chronology — and no existing tool produced it at the quality I wanted to put in front of a court, a family, or a co-counsel team.

The underlying tool turned out to be useful beyond legal work. Personal histories. Family medical journeys. Organizational milestones for a 30-year nonprofit. Research timelines for a long investigation. So PrizmLine is general-purpose now — the trust contest is one use case, not the use case.

It's built and maintained by one person. That keeps it focused. If you have feedback, hit reply to anything I send you, or write directly: hello@prizmline.com.
